I wish you could have all seen the reaction today when I told my students that I believed in what the beaver was saying and that I thought Gruden is coming. Pretty sure I'll be called into the principals office tomorrow. Apparently, the word beaver and high school minds don't mix well.

Red October = Beating Bama.

We play them every October. Hiring Gruden would be a major step in making that a "rivalry" again. It would be maybe the ONLY move we could make that would get Bama's attention and make them take us serious again.

very insightful, now you can read AV's post as we just turned the corner to actually hunt for Red October meaning he's signed.......

Ok I know we are all probably just fed up and tired of all the swirling BS but why even mention something like”tomorrow is pivotal” if there is no intention or discussion to ever be had... to me this takes down credibility for a couple of reasons:

1) if the deal was or has been done why is there still a pivotal moment this late in the game after we’ve fired CBJ, the thought was this was wrapped up not long after the Georgia game right?

2) what is the harm in posting legit info under a screen name... if in fact you work in the athletic department surely you have first hand info and could post reassuring or info that could be validated at a later date or when we see it unfold, otherwise why the hell is the point in posting on here at all?

This guy doesn't work in the AD. He's a booster.

But AV himself said not expecting any announcement or info tomorrow would be wise......so.....? Where's that leave us?

Are y’all really that clueless?? Red October-conquering the red team down south. Atlanta doesn’t speak in code. Tomorrow will be pivotal in beating Alabama for years to come.

I just wanted to sound smart for a little bit but yea buck fama, that was my first game in Neyland last year and they ruined my experience

And here I thought it was a reference to the movie.

They found it for those who have not seen it.

He's busy crying into his Boones Farm Strawberry Hill and staring at his collection of bobble head Dan Mullen dolls.

Would those dolls be life size? Cause his head really does bobble. I can’t look at that man for more then 10 seconds.

I wouldn't assume that he's signed. What ATL is saying is that tomorrow is decision day, or some sort. If the decision is positive, the "Hunt for Red October" is on. If not, well...

So to summarize the events of tonight:

1. Gruden "allegedly" flew to Tampa today, but is currently negotiating on campus tonight with Fulmer, Currie, two unknown dudes.

2. Randy Sanders may or may not be there in person or on the phone to become the QB coach.

3. A couple of people have a picture but can't get it to load.

4. Gruden is contacting coaches (during the college football season) to complete his staff.

5. Hooters will be the official vendor of Neyland Stadium in 2018.

6. Bob Lamonte (Gruden's agent) is letting Jon negotiate his own contract.

Did I forget anything?

7. GV is only an hour and 15 minutes behind at this time.
