I’ve had some actual hope since Sunday that things were going to get good for us. Now, I’m worried this isn’t gonna end well.

You need to stop listening to Coasty. Dude is all over the place. He reminds me of Curly Howard that occasionally doesn't fall off a ladder.

It was actually reading sports sites. People think Butch made us a laughing stock, if Gruden doesn’t happen, oh boy. Writers and rival fans are already having a field day with our fanbase believing it again. I’m not saying it’s true or not, just if it’s not we’ll be a laughing stock.

There may or may not be truth to the idea that the UTAD isn’t capable of hiring a worthwhile coach, but I don’t believe there is.

However, the posters making threads wanting us to believe we just can’t ever be good again astound me.

I agree, I’m all negative right now, but Tennessee will win big again one day. I just hope it’s sooner rather than later.

I have no real idea either way. My opinion tends to be negative. Having said that.....”it is my understanding...” that Currie has an understanding with someone. So the hire has been made unofficially. Who it is or when an announcement will be made is anyone’s guess.


So basically I really don’t know anything other than what everyone else knows.

So what you're saying is that there may or may not be a plan that may or may not be in place that may or may not work out for us that may or may not already be official.

What I’ve got is family who make more money in a week than you me and everyone here will make in their lifetime. Those people sometimes tell me things. They actually told me more than I’m letting on. I just don’t believe them.

But you’re correct compared to them I’ve got nothing

I just saw two stories on Facebook that said Gruden said he’s not interested. I haven’t been in the ff, I wonder if they know?
