I think others will be in shock as to how UT did it. Currie will be the baddest a** AD in the country for getting a coach no one else could get period. I do think others will have feeling of doubt but also despair as to what he can do here at UT.

That's not true at all! I'm 100% Gruden. I'm just trying to weed out all of the STUPID fake news grumors embedded within it. I witnessed every game of his at UT very intently, and am seeing what he's doing at FSU now (just like everyone in the country is). I think you might actually be the one that has no clue in this case...facts is facts.

I'm not sure here: has anybody addressed the multiple endorsement contracts the Gruden has? Wouldn't those need to be addressed/resolved? Hooter's, Corona, Bridgestone come to mind. I'm not a lawyer, but my understanding is that in the past UT coaches do not do endorsements with anyone besides "Proud VolNetwork Sponsors" which is in the coaching contract. Sounds like a bunch of lawyers/variables there.

That would have been addressed in the early process a few weeks ago. These would be grouped together as a "yes" or "no".

I am still way behind on this thread but I have to say I have a ton of respect for Atlantvol, Sara and Clearwater. For all of you haters out there, things like what they offered to fellow Vols and the conversations we have in here whether they are on topic or not is the reason we are all hanging out in the Gruden thread. We are brothers and sisters and want the best for UT and the ABSOLUTE best for UT is JON F'N GRUDEN! Having said that we aren't here to discuss any other coach nor are we here to discuss why we think Jon Gruden would be a good coach or not...we have already made up our minds.
