Ladies and Gents.. I can not emphasize enough that anymore speculation is futile..

We have won this battle.. The guy we all have wanted for a long time is gonna be the leader of this program..

My source has been a father figure to me for the majority of my life whether he was aware or not and I have zero doubt that what he said is 100% truth and this is reality..

JG is intent on bringing in a staff primarily comprised of former VOLS and understand what it means to represent the power T..

The last decade is going to be a distant memory

I say definitely by Thanksgiving.

Tomorrow - we beat FL but only have one day exclusive coverage.

Thursday - supposed day FL pulls the trigger. If so, maybe we give them the morning and then deflate their balloon by announcing in the afternoon. This way we take the rest of the day and all day Friday and own the networks. Plus I like this because it gives a boost to the players (particularly the seniors) for their last coupe of games.

If it goes to next week, I say Tuesday. Wednesday - Saturday is all about Turkey Day Football.

Either way, we need this done SOON for recruits.

On a team that dropped 100 on someone this weekend. Our basketball team may be spooky this year.

Don't get too excited, High Point is still not legitimate competition. Haven't been a force in their conference for several years now, so it's not entirely unexpected that we'd throttle them at home. We'll find out next week if we're for real or not.

I believe you. I am aware of a person whose job is connected to the UT BOT and who was supposed to be in Nashville for a long scheduled meeting tomorrow. His appearance was rescheduled and I am fairly certain that it has something to do with the hire.

I’d love it, but I think you’re greatly over selling the way other fans will view the hire. It will be spun as dumb and an over-priced un-proven gamble, with Chip Kelly being the known big winner. The only thing that will silence that is if he wins, and wins big, in the first two years.

I think others will be in shock as to how UT did it. Currie will be the baddest a** AD in the country for getting a coach no one else could get period. I do think others will have feeling of doubt but also despair as to what he can do here at UT.
