If we do land The Grude and they announce SOONER rather than later, winder if there is any way he does NOT do MNF in Seattle? I still think about that lukewarm response he gave to SVP after the Grinder segment about seeing him in Seattle.

Peyton will be the fill in for MNF after Gruden is announced IMHO!

well today one of johhny majors brothers stopped in on a sales,we had to ask him he replied gruden is the one that will be taking the job at ut.

Bobby used to sell paper in Chatt back in late 80’s. How is he doing?

Arth had two of his main assistants leave for the NFL before the season...Injuries have been crazy for UTC. He will be ok in the future. The players love him.

Blackburns heart was not at UTC anymore after he got turned down by UT. I was told a few weeks ago Blackburns name would be associated with a major program again soon.

I am connected at UTC and know quite a bit about athletics there.

Your right. I found the article where he stepped down just before football season. I don't follow the Mocs that much.

The only thing is when he was here because of his inexperience calling plays. I'm not sure we saw his 100% identity. I give Gruden the benefit of the doubt if Sanders is his guy then I'm all in for Randy Sanders.

My I ask why? Sanders is a great QB coach and would be a great edition to the staff imo. Not trying to be an azz just wandering why you feel this way. Again not trying to be confrontational just curious

The media dumps are reactive and following the chatter so most of them can be discarded. The affirmations are cyclic and consistent. These are both good indicators. Keep the faith.

I've been on the no chance of getting Gruden train the whole time. That said, I got a text from my friend an hour ago who's the son of a who's a pretty accomplished basketball coach. Said his dad was talking to Barnes and was told UT has their guy, but wouldn't say who. Just have a big and said fans would be thrilled.

No offense to Dale Jones but how is hiring an Appy St coach going to make Saban sh himself? If anyone else was hiring an App St coach for a staff position, they would be crucified on here.

Legendary....Was a major contributor towards the first rebuild of the program...

A great coach and why not....a developer of talent and very dynamic.

He fits into the category of Reynolds, Walker, Kiner and other greats.

Would be happy with this hire....plus if JG wants him then I would not question his judgment.

If anybody else would have hired him, I doubt any fan that knew or saw him play would bat an eye....Have always wondered why he has not been hired as a LB coach here.....
