i want to use an analogy ... i hope i don't touch any buttons. it's a good analogy, and i mean absolutely no offense at all by this, so don't get offended ...

you know how ladies who haven't had children ... after a few years ... there comes a time when you have to have kids if you want them, or you just can't have them anymore.

biological clock.

if gruden wants to coach again for any length of time, his clock is ticking, and he's surely got to know it. at least, that's my opinion.

i think this is another thing that bodes well for us.

Finebaum said he got a call yesterday from someone very close to Gruden. Gruden heard Paul talking about him being considered for coach at UT and asked the person to call Paul and tell him he will not be coaching at UT. Paul said he thinks he wanted him to say that on the air, but he had not planned to because Gruden can release his own statement of he wants. Hope it's just smokescreen.
