again, that proves nothing. So a random radio guy in Denver talks to Gruden and he is the one guy that Gruden finally comes out and says no when everyone else has probably asked Gruden that question every day, when Gruden can just release a public statement to everyone to squash it all....

This is not the first contract for any of these parties. As you laid out, there are not many things to negotiate. This should have been done already in a matter of a few days.

It is time to sign or step away from the table.

I want to work for your company if these sized deals get hashed that quickly and efficiently.

Pretending a $10mil/yr deal is small change for any organization is a joke.

It's been confirmed that UT has spoken to Gruden about the job by people like Hubbs. Do not believe football scoop for one second nor Albright, who is using football scoop as his source. Gruden may never coach here but these people saying Tennessee isn't speaking to him and that he hasn't spoken to assistants are full of it.

if you have inside info on this, you're for sure not talking publicly about it. football is a fraternity that runs deep. I don't think anyone would directly tell Swain or Clay Travis anything they wouldn't want public to know because they're media. If it did get leaked that JG is contacting people about jobs, those people would for sure want to cover tracks because them leaking that without permission would be absolutely unacceptable.

Yeah but it's just hilarious that less than 24 hours after CBS Sports reports Gruden as a top candidate, you have all this media trying to say it won't happen.

Now me personally? I think there is a lot more to the grumors this time around than 2012. Do I think it will happen? Hard to say, but there is way to much smoke around this guy for there to be nothing to it and the people adamantly proclaiming that there is nothing to it probably have as much insight into the proceedings as we do.

The Chip Kelly stuff is all over the map in the interwebs right now also.....tons of people saying yes and others saying no way. So...if it turns out that Kelly goes to FL then we know that all the nega-Grude stuff is bull. Its all playing out the same way. Just on a much smaller level.
