Weirdest thing in the world to make up that I "hate the Vols." Not sure why a sane person would fabricate that out of thin air.

Gruden is not talking to the Vols, he is not going to coach the Vols. Period.

Just to clarify on Allbright - he does have some sources. But they’re not always accurate (saying 50/50 would be generous). When the Titans were drafting second overall a few years back, he put out a lot of tweets (from sources) about our draft intentions. It caused quite a stir on Titans Report. He was even invited on TR’s podcast, and he obliged. And he was adamant the Titans would not be drafting Marcus Mariota. Basically said it was a zero percent chance. He went on in great detail about why it wouldn’t happen based on the conversations he had had. Then we drafted Marcus Mariota a couple of weeks later.

I can confirm that this person has never had to sit in or been apart of large multi million dollar contract negotiations.

It is part of my job.

The fact that you lead with the money shows that you don't understand deal negotiation.

The dollars, in this case, is the simple part. You are not buying a business with assets and revenue streams to evaluate. This is an employment deal. Pretty simple.

I know you guys are trying to hang on and discredit anyone that says it is possible the deal is not going to happen.

I want it to happen but it should be done by now.

I still believe in Gruden, but MIT seems a little childish on Twitter to be a legit source.

To be blunt he just seems like an arrogant rich kid. I'm not trying to crap on the guy and I'm glad he's here, but that's just what it seems like to me.
