So basically if you have any negative or realistic information on Gruden it’s not allowed in this thread?

An announcement will be made based on the new hire's wishes. Whatever coach we get will be the one saying when it happens, Currie will agree to it and that will be that.

If it is Gruden, he has to work out details with ESPN. If it's another employed coach, he has to work out details with his employer. If it's Chip Kelly, he just wants to call the shots.

Swain is just using footballscoop to gain listeners. I won’t be tuning in anymore until next football season. I like his commentary on games but this is annoying.

In 2012 Gruden reached out and talked to coaches to gauge interest while weighing his options. Could have done same now before rejecting or signing a TN offer. Him accepting or not will have no real value to determine if it is true or not on talking to coaches.

Currie has a guy, but he has been working for THE guy. We see THE guy rumors not looking good for UT. The recruits have been told there is someone in place, and he will be announced nov 26th.

I'll believe Trey Wallace over everyone else until he gives a reason not too. He's broke several stories this year and has been releasing stuff weeks ahead of other media members.

Wallace still status quo calling Scoop BS and this being silly season but also mentioned Mullen being backup not bad idea . His status quo btw is 60 % All is well Swain looking for clicks and not reliable

With Kelly probably going to Florida that’s a sign to Curry that he must get this right. Whether it’s Gruden, Patterson, or Mullen he MUST now get a big name and a proven coach. If he doesn’t he risks his job and sets the program back another decade. That’s why I don’t believe this BS report on football scoop. There will be a big name coach at Tennessee here very soon.
