He posted that Tee denied it to the media and got a little upset with him for posting stuff on VN.

I have no problems with those coming in here dropping negative info. It happens. Many of us went through that in 2012. As a matter of fact, I took up for Skeeter the other night when he dropped his info and had a bunch of new folks giving him down the road.

We accept all kinds of news here, good, bad or other.

I do have a problem with someone coming in here talking **** about these threads being stupid, the fan base delusional and claiming we are ignorant for making such a big deal about it. These threads are like 95% OT stuff. If someone can't handle that because it's "embarrassing", they can GTFO.

Of all the non-Gruden rumors I'd almost take Doug Marrone just to see him towering over Jimmy Hyams. He's at least a foot taller than Jimmy.

When is Mr. GRUDEN's last day at mnf? I was curious to see if he would have much time to get a staff together and get some recruits.... I hope all is well volnation. Bring Jon to the hill, and make TENNESSEE GREAT AGAIN!

This new information actually helps credit Tuesday more than discredit him IMO..... we heard from him this morning before any news of Tee being false .... now Tee is trying to save face and people like football scoop and Swain are helping him .... IMO

Guys, this is part of the charm and beauty of the Gruden threads. Let's all take one or 2 tweets and absolutely freak out and throw the baby out with the bath water. Then a few hours later, somebody posts something good and it's a party in here. Trolls are gonna troll regardless, just sit back and enjoy the ride. Nobody 100% for sure knows what Currie and Gruden are thinking but those 2 people. Everybody else has an agenda or an angle. I choose to roll with the flow and watch the carnage.

It’s called deductive reasoning. You don’t launch a 340 million dollar renovation, promise to make an explosive hire and fire Butch Jones to bring in PJ Fleck. Cut is in his 60’s and his time at TN has passed and Jimbo has a 30 million dollar buyout. Just using logic and common sense shows that that article is reaching for things not there or, is being fed some crap so smelly that it redirects everyone’s attention.

As you look to sort thru the conflicting noise, remember that coaches and their agents say different things to different people. I'll use Cutcliffe as an example.

Many of you believe (some of you know) that Cutcliffe was spoken with directly about the UT job before Butch Jones was hired. I will also tell you that Cut looked numerous Duke players and their parents straight in the eye and told them he never even considered the UT job and had told his agent if they called to tell them he wasn't interested.

So in the noise, look for the signals. Coaches are strange breeds. They will say whatever it takes to buy time and get what they want in the end.

So again, was the information false that Gruden was getting together coaches or the guy from football scoop was false information?

$30 million is if he gets fired, not hired away from another school.

Trey Wallace and other reliable guys like John Brice are 100% certain what they’re hearing is reliable. I’m going with these 2 guys because they know what’s up. They’re both reliable good journalists as well.

I just saw but didn't read an article from SEC country saying Gruden didn't want the Tennessee job. A lot of people asking if it's fake or legit. I don't have time to read it, I have to go to bed for work tonight. Maybe one of you guys can take a look at it and see what the report says?
