Just got caught up. I had indicated earlier that I heard that Gruden had reached out to Cade. This lines up with what Olevolfan has stated as well. This along with him getting the date right on butch being canned works for me.

I will continue to post as I get news from my guy that rubs elbows with Thunder. You can believe me or not. I am just passing along info.

Some of you may be twitter friends of mine (I follow lots of vols fans on there). Same username as here. You can see how I feel about butch jones and Tennessee football from my history. I have not and will not post any info I get on twitter. It will be here and here only.

Here is to making the Vols a team to fear again.

I called you out on your "info" a few days ago and asked why you had a sudden 180 from asking for info on here to suddenly being on the inside track of rumors.

We don't ask for sources in here. Some of us do question how you came across your information so suddenly. To which you still have yet to explain how you came across this "source" with such great info.

Or to bypass this you could contact that coaches agent.

Coaches talk constantly. They often talk to each other more than they talk to their own families.

How soon could we hire a coach that's currently coaching in NCAA? I know Currie told Martinez that we'd have a coach in place by December 20th. Is that enough time to interview and hire a guy currently coaching?

Sure. Coaching hires happen all the time between the regular season ending and the bowl games.

I will say this, if Gruden doesnt take the Tennessee job, then I really wish he would make an announcement to Tennessee fans. Just say that he appreciates the offer, but that he has no interest to ever coach at Tennessee.

Also, if he is using all of this as a means to just troll the UT fanbase or as leverage for something else, thats a ***** move. Not saying its not smart, just a jerk move.
