A lil more backstory on that, since I don't think its been posted in here.

OLEVOLFAN is the guy that accurately predicted/"broke" the Butch jones firing in the middle of last week (for Sunday). Could've just got lucky. Last week, he claims Jones knew and that his office was going to be packed during the Mizzou game.

Anyways, the other part of this is goingupitnotuesday (or whatever his name is). He does indeed work out of Nashville and may be right on calling OLEVOLFAN out. tuesday claims to be friends with Tee Martin (they follow each other on instagram), along with a mutual friend they have, DJ Wootson of Titus Young Real Estate (also based out of Nashville).

tuesday's not a troll. He's been posting for a while but had been skeptical that Gruden would come here. He also claimed to know Tee will before this next part. He comes along and says he has a text from Tee. Gruden's people were gauging interest from Tee about being OC here. Tee declined because he wants to be a head coach soon.

Now here's where it gets dicey, and why I don't believe it. Wootson tells tuesday that Tee was approached a second time, this time offered "head coach in waiting". Supposedly Casey Clausen was also offered a position.

TIFWIW, with a huge grain of salt. tuesday's not a troll, but he may be an attention whore like boro. He's maintained all this time, since from the texts from Tee and Wootson, that he is 150% sure Gruden is coming here.

Mack Brown, Fulmer, and Spurrier should do a radio show together I wouldn't mind sitting by the fire and listening to old grid iron stories. But Mack Brown is done.

Comments from Martinez regarding his conversation with Currie:

With Jones now out at Tennessee, the school’s AD John Currie has personally reached out to Martinez and his family to provide them with information into the school’s process and where things stand in the coaching search. According to Martinez, the school is working quickly to hire a new coach and expects a decision to be made soon.

“I can tell from what he told my father and I, he’s working really really hard,” Martinez continued. “He said it’s going to take awhile, it won’t be hours until a decision will be made, but it will be days. There’s a lot of work that has to go into this decision. It’s going to be a leader and someone that’s going to get this program back where it needs to be. He really reassured us that he’s going to get it done soon.”

Without providing any specific details on candidates, Currie’s message to the quarterback appears to have resonated.

The big question on Martinez’s mind, as is likely the question all Tennessee commits or recruits are asking, will a new coach be in place in time for the early signing day? According to Currie, there’s no doubt the answer is yes.

“I asked (John Currie) if I can expect to see this new coach, get to talk to him and get a feel before I go in and sign with this school and he said most certainly,” Martinez said. “He actually said, ‘If there’s not a new head football coach by December 20th then there will be a new AD in town.’ So I’m confident the job will get done and done as quickly as it can.”

Don't disagree with you, just thought we might be interested to see the pic and hear a new #grumor. I think the photo is legit because i trust my friend but a high level of skepticism is reasonable for you guys i suppose.

I’ve seen that pic of Gruden before. I don’t remember where or when but I swear I feel like I have seen it before.

If it really is "days" as Martinez said, then Currie really does have him in the live well. Gruden is the only one we've really heard they're after. Could it be?????

IF Currie already has his guy, to me, that means it's likely Gruden, Kelly, or Bob Stoops. Possibly a coordinator that's ready to bolt, but not likely.

Yeah. Days and not hours.

He didn’t say weeks.

Of course the AD would tell kids it’s gonna be soon just to keep them hanging in there. Even if there’s no guarantee it would be soon. That’s his job. Protect the program.

That’s why CBJ coached as long as he did. It’s what was best for the program.

If that's true that Currie won't be doing any interviews until later in the week it makes me think he almost has to already have somebody in the bag, or close to it. I'd say that's a good thing.

Basilio hits more than people give him credit. They twist his words more often than not.

He didn’t say Frost was done as it was portrayed here. He said mike Hamilton is telling people that will be the hire.

It’s mostly just speculation on TB’s part.
