If Mike Hamilton is mentioning any name which is about 99.9999999% false it would be to distract. He and Currie are still tight I have heard

I agree not likely. But depends on the other terms. $8 with no or very low buyout to fire but huge buyout if he walks would make a lot of sense to me (from UT’s perspective).

Edit: Maybe that was overstating it if we are talking $8m base, but point is, it makes plenty of sense to overpay if you get results; it’s when you don’t get results and have to buy out a contract that it hurts.

The poster OLEVOLFAN or whatever had said he had a source Gruden was coming and he was a country singer under the initials MR. Everyone figured out who it was and then the post above is a guy saying he has sources in the music industry and that the OLEVOLFAN guy is lying because he asked MR.

Here's the quote from Basilio's blog....

Mike Hamilton Is Telling Friends that Tennessee is going to hire Scott Frost. If that proves to be the case then Tennessee will pay through the nose for him because he's in play at both Florida AND Nebraska. I'm talking $8 million per year.

He is saying that Mike Hamilton is telling people that is going to be who we hire. Basilio is speculating that it would take a ton of money to get it done because Nebraska and Florida both want him.

I still think Gruden will not come, but guys, we are not going with someone like Hoke or a lower level guy... there is too much going on with the state of the program, it is know that money is not a problem, and Currie seeing how important this hire is--- it will define him or be his downfall--- we will get someone on the top shelf. I wasn't that confident several weeks ago, but there is simply too much at stake here for them to try and pass off another Dooley/Butch to Volnation...
My only worry at this point is the timing and if it will be soon enough to salvage our recruiting class...

I was thinking about that this morning.

How much different will it look?

Will they adjust route trees etc or is that too much to install in the last two weeks.

Will it be things we've worked in some but just haven't been allowed to run in games.

Will player rotation look different.

Should be interesting.

If Gruden is flying around on Haslems jet, he isn't being spotted with the general public for photo ops.
I've never flown into McGee Tyson private, but have many other airports, and you don't have to go any where other than directly to your car.

There is no southwest anywhere in it, has him and a guy with black hair in it, i have the pic but it's on my phone so not sure how to upload it on here without a URL.

Said it was Knoxville airport this morning @ 0600

McElroy and zarzar with some good incite on Norvell and Frost this morning. Long story short, simply said they haven't proven enough to be a proven hire for Tennessee. Norvell is riding Fuentes coatails, and Frost just hasn't done enough yet.
