How can it be a crushing problem when we've never even played them once in the SECCG?

How is Arkansas a natural rival? Knoxville's as far from New York City as it is from Fayetteville.

Nick Saban is 66 years old. When he's gone the Bammers are going to go back to being the same squabbling mess they were before he got there. There's no reason to throw the third Saturday in October away when we've got other problems to worry about first.

This. All this.

It's all cyclical man. Extended dry spells are a debt every program owes. There are no exceptions. Bama will be back to that level soon enough. Look at Florida.

Running away from a fight makes you a coward. We don't need to give up the rivalry. We need to regroup and bring out the heavy artillery.

He said Marrone is definitely interested or has expressed interest, but he doesn’t see how the timing works.

If it comes down to Morris or Norvell, and Marrone is interested. Than I hope they wait for Marrone, even if it means this year's class falls apart.

C'mon guys, that's Hubbs' list, not Currie's. Pure speculation on his part.

Even I have more faith in Currie than that.

Hubbs was asked for his top 3. He gave this:

Chad morris is a Texas coach. He was a Texas hs football coach and he has many friends who are HS coaches within the state and the only way he leaves the program of SMU is for ARK/TAMU/ or Texas Tech along with the obvious big programs.

Jimbo Fisher, just for everyone who doesn't kniw, his buyout is 30 million dollars, so before we hire him we have to pay Butch and staff-12 million, pay FSU 30 million and then we have to hire Jimbo at around 6-6.5/year and get a staff for another 4. So in year 1 we better make alot of changes cause we are in the hole for this change about 52-55 million dollars. Hopefully we can beat Kentucky and Vanderbilt to get the fanbase back!

I just want it to be said if Mike norvell comes here after a 2 year interview of being a HC at Memphis that didn't start off well, I will be utterly amazed.

Man, these media guys are trying to lower expectations. F... them. This job has never been better with the talent in the state at an all time high, the history and the 2nd to none facilities. UT better go big this time or this empty Neyland crap will eventually become a reality. When that happens, the repercussions will be felt through every part of the University.

I think that list that Hubbs put it is him trying to be really conservative. If we end up with Morris then we have been turned down multiple times.

I think that's what FSU has to pay Fisher as a buyout, not the other way around.

You guys do realize that Hubbs's list more than likely isn't Currie's list, right?

Well...if Hubbs is the AD mouthpiece and is putting out lackluster names, and Thamel's source is Currie, and he is putting out lackluster names, then that is concerning.

I can't believe I'm in here defending Currie, but if he's told Hubbs/Thamel anything (which I doubt), it's misinformation.

It would be one thing if Hubbs was asked what he thought Currie's list looked like, but he was asked what his personal list looked like.
