The mnf statement is simply my opinion. Don't see how it helps espn. From what I have heard we have met all demands. I don't see how Gruden is not our coach. Cautiously very optimistic, mainly because of 2012..

Is it untrue to say there’s no longer any obstacle to an announcement, if it’s gruden? No way he finishes out MNF before being announced because of the early signing period. So, why not within the next couple of days?

He's always calling in saying his wife tried to call Cindy but she hasn't called back yet and he saw Jon 10 years ago at a family reunion and talked to him about the job then. But Jon hasn't been back and won't give him his phone number blah blah blah

I got the impression the team he was talking about was his own AD staff. The folks on "the 4th floor," most of whose names the vast majority of us have rarely or never heard.

Not boosters, not necessarily even Phil, just hard-working AD staffers.

Could be wrong about that, but that's how it sounded live.

I believe them both, I think they both are telling what they hear. The post tonight could well be misdirection until Gruden is ready to leave MNF. Time will tell. I talked to the other source Friday and he was convinced that Gruden had taken the job, I'm believing he is right as long as I can. TIFWIW

Did you actually "talk" to someone or are just referencing a post from another site?

There is a big difference is saying "my source told me" and "I read a post on another website and wanted to share".

One implies a whole lot more than the other.

At best it's misleading, at worst its dishonest.
