Any coach with sense will take the Tennessee job. Butch has it set up to be the story of college football. Young QB like JG, star WR in Callaway and studs at RB. OL can block adequate I don't care what anyone says. Coaching can make this a 10 win team with this schedule. The defense has talent and a competent coordinator will play the best athletes.

BB, you pretty confident any upgrade we get will have more success evaluating talent and winning on the recruiting trail? Butch seems to have struck out over and over... I worry about Mullen not being able to pull the talent needed if he were here, what say you? There is supposedly a ton of TN talent coming up in a year and we need someone who can lock it up.

And Butch didn't want to play Dobbs either his first two seasons remember? He only played out of necessity and was too good to bench at that point.

Butch didn't have a winning record until Josh Dobbs came in. May be one of the greatest VOLS ever. Hope he gets to play quarterback at Pittsburgh.
