Yes scheme should cater to your players strengths. Dobbs in the spread and running zone reads is pretty optimal for his skill set.

And this goes for Lineman , RBs and WRs as well. If you have a bunch of guys who are better suited for high pointing passes down the field than why run everything inside of 15 yards. If we don’t have tackles who can maul DEs why are we running powers and edge rushes? ...

Was it Hubbs? Somebody called in on the radio a week or so ago and asked about this. Hubbs went off the rails towards the end of his answer about an NFL coach and the person asking the question never mentioned any coaches.
