Butch Jones has been Bad every single year he has been here. We paid him no mind Bc we kept saying “o the roster is bad, let him bring his players in...”

Been saying it as some of you have on here. He's a system coach, not the type of football coach needed at this level. He cannot do anything outside of his created system. He recruited talented players and is good at closing sales. He made next to no attempt to develop them to their strengths. He developed them to his flawed system. With each group of coaching changes we had hopes he had finally learned his lessons. Instead we find out he was just lying to some of the players to keep them doing it his way.

Just the fact that he was rumored beforehand to be here means someone was right. Whoever brought that rumor may be in the know.

Then the fact it happened and Larry knew about it means to me it was of significance.

Per 247.... Mullen and Taggart have expressed interest as have several highly respected Power 5 asst coaches. Also a current NFL coach will listen if TN comes calling but name not being disclosed


Soooo who is the msystery man MR chef Currie been working...

I will take the field here. Can't see any of them taking the job. Norvell is substantially more likely.

He's a clown man. He's botched recruiting jobs in the state of Tennessee too. Not second hand knowledge either. I'm soooo glad this staff is gone. That lackluster BS is off the Vol sideline and off the recruiting trails man. Man botching top prospects left and right bro. Getting out recruited by teams effort wise that are ahead of you on the field.

Surely there are coaches out there wanting to take on Nick Saban and have the bona fides. UT Knoxville's the perfect platform for doing just this.

It's Harbaugh. He sees the enjoyment his brother is having, and remembers his dad's success as a college level coach and wants out of Baltimore, where he has only 2 years on his contract. Better than Gruden IMO.
