All of the clear thinkers knew that was the case. But the chicken little's guaranteed us that UF was simply proving they are all about winning and that doing what they did would get them first dibs to hire any coach they want. Lmao!

Florida has made two crappy hires in a row. It was silly to assume they were gonna hit a grand slam. I still think Mac is a good coach. Just never fully had support there and stuff went sour.

I am almost convinced that the only reason media keeps throwing his name around in terms of UT is because they think all residents of Tennessee have mullets, wear overalls, and don't wear shoes. Mullet=UT HC.

Lol i guess it’s hard to get everything out over text. Both of our lines are bad outside of Trey Smith, that’s what scares me the most. Most of our players upfront don’t even look like SEC caliber OL/DL. That is not something can be fixed in 8-10 months. That’s a total overhaul that will take a few years.

i think we lose Kelly, Jennings, and Gaulden To the draft. Added to the fact that we will be in our first year of a new system. Is it possible we catch lightening in a bottle and win 10 games? Maybe yea because ive said the last month that UGA is overrated and The rest of the east is very winnable. But we have a tough schedule next year.

I’m not going into next year with overly high expectations because I’ve seen first hand what went on the last two years especially. Lazy in the weight room, very lethargic practices, lack of scrimmages..etc. changing this culture is what needs to be done first and foremost.

Are McKenzie and Tuttle seniors? What about Phillips and Taylor?

I feel like we’ve got guys with SEC talent on defense. Just not a lot of depth. OL is in worse shape than when Dooley left. We’ve recruited a bunch of TEs and projects and the guys that weren’t have all quit.

At least the 2013 line gave Butch a chance to develop some guys. Hopefully, Chance Hall comes back. He and Smith can start at T for a year, bump Drew inside. Otherwise, we’ll be giving up a half dozen sacks to UTC again.

That level of cowardice is unmatched. It’s not like he is taking another big job like Kiffin and they would actually follow him.

Come to think of it that’s exaxtly what Franklin did at Vandy. He probably spent half his recruiting budget anti-cruiting kids to TN.

All four d line guys are juniors. That recruiting class was sick on paper lol.

Hall and Tuttle had the worst luck. A lot of upside. Hard for me to picture them being really productive again but i hope so.

MackenZie is the the big ? For me he has the size but his motor and effort is horrible. Hopefully the next coach gets more out of him.

Well, as long as all these rumors have been going about Gruden and if offered, he has had plenty of time to figure out if he wants to take or not. Just want to either hire the guy or put it to rest so we can focus more on the options we really have. I just have a hard time believe he will take it for the same reasons as others have already said. Why take a college gig, messing with 17 yr olds, sooner or late he will have to hit the recruiting trail, and the last one for me would be he has mentioned before like Peyton that he wouldn't want UT hating him if things didn't turn out good. jmho

It’s both. Funny how last year with the same scheme we put up a lot of points.

Same OL except we added Trey Smith. Scheme succeeded because of Dobbs. If you think this scheme is good then you are nuts. I just can't understand anyone taking up for this scheme. Team did well because of talent which overcame the scheme.

This I do agree with. Jeremy Foley (wasn’t that the name of their last AD?) was way better than the guy they have now. That dude is their Mike Hamilton, IMO.
