Official Jon Gruden thread 32.

I’m going to keep saying this until you and others get it. They’ve said it’s been done on the BOOSTERS side. Gruden has always been the caveat. So in essence, it has been done on all ends EXCEPT Gruden. He has to agree.

Some have said it’s done and should’ve used better wording but that’s what they meant.

Then you'll be saying it often. To suggest that many have not stated explicitly that it was 100% is naive at best.

This is MIT_Beaver's exact post from 10-29 at 5:40 PM

"It wasn’t a question of if but when they would fold. Hence my 100% confidence throughout this process. The only uncertainty was of Gruden wanted the job, thankfully he did."

I'll just leave this here!

Potentially stupid question: what is the purpose for today’s presser? They already issued a press release announcing Botch gone, Hoke is interim, search underway. What else is there to say?

Newbern’s in Florence, AL against any other catfish place anytime. Hands down the best any where.

I use to work for TVA and The Fish Camp in New Johnsonville had as good as I have ever had. Fiddlers and Hush puppies, they said as many do that hush puppies were invented there.

I kind of thought the same thing. If I were the AD I would do one or the other, probably just issue the statement, and hold PC for when the coach is announced.

But I guess he's just going to give the media a chance to ask a few questions, which he will avoid all of them.

For instance, he will probably be asked about reaching out to people already and he will deflect and say the process started today or something like that. Don't believe it. It's what he has to say.

That's certainly possible. I was using Pilot for a case study for the class and after having written all of about 2 pages on the matter, I went to him and asked how it was even possible that Jimmy wasn't indicted and that's what he told me his experience was with him. Of course that experience was in high school, so who knows. I decided that either way, I didn't trust the guy. Something that big happens on your watch and you either knew and didn't do anything or you let it get by you. Regardless, the guy should not have say in much of anything.
Agree very much!

Seriously? It was an honest mistake, and I would never intentionally mislead. I let my excitement get the best of me and posted it before checking it out first.

No problem. Don't let these guys get to you. Every piece of info coming out is going to be analysed down to the smallest detail. Everyone is a little on edge with anxious anticipation. It's like when you're about to open a gift and you think it's what you've been wanting forever but also know that there is a chance it is not.

Almost to China bruh. At first you said a family friend sent it to you then the story changed that your mom sent it to you.

Wrong. I said "This was taken by a family friend at McGhee Tyson about 15 minutes ago." Then, I said, "I don't even know this guy. My mother of all people showed this me." NEVER did I say he sent it directly to me. He's a friend of my mother on Facebook. Get it? It's not my fault you can't remember exactly what I said.

Rocky Top Insider guy on Basilio just said a booster source told him per Currie to the boosters, they are moving on a Big, Expensive, and Explosive hire.

My dad, grandad, uncle, great uncles worked for ICG before they closed the old Iselin railyard

Grandad was a breakman and retired a train inspector

Dad was a pipefitter

Lots of folks have history with the railroad here. Used to be a much bigger deal than it is now. We have less than 30 employees now.
