So we are going to be bad forever according to you?
Im not a butch fan at all but we have some bad football players. Ive said the past 2 years that butchs recruiting is extremely overrated. He and Welton especially were bad evaluators.
No lol. We can be solid next year year. Theres no excuse for not being bowl eligible next year. But Aub, Bama, and UGA are gonna be automatic losses next year in my mind and WVU, SC, and UF will he toss ups. Remember it will be our first year in maybe a drastically different offense/defense.
-The right coach will move Trey Smith to LT, Richmond to RT, and make draft picks out of both of them (I'll reserve judgement on any OL due to Jones's pee wee league blocking scheme).
-Kelly and Chandler have the potential to be the best RB tandem in the SEC, especially with Guice, Chubb, and Michel likely gone.
-If Gualden returns and the right coach moves Byrd to corner that will be a nice tandem.
-Warrior and Abernathy could be a potentially nice tandem at safety.
-Kirkland and Bituli on the field together will hurt some fools.
-The right coach could talk Jennings back. JJ, Calloway, Johnson, and Palmer would be a nice corps in the right system.
-Gruden, Kelly, or Mullen would instantly upgrade QB play.
8 wins would be a good job, as is the case with any transition. Especially since S&C is the most broken part and would take the most time to fix. I actually expect the new guy to do better the 1st than the 2nd because of all the roster turnover that could occur then.
So this big, expensive and explosive bit.
If there is any truth to that at all, I can only think of two names.
Gruden
Chip Kelly
What if Gruden is the smokescreen for Kelly?
My main concern is just in the trenches. I disagree with your thinking that we're think at RB. We have Kelly (if he returns) , Chandler, Fils-Aime and Jordan. That's a really solid group of tail backs. I like our talent at the skill positions and I feel good about Guarantano going forward. I actually liked what I saw from McBride last night as well for the most part. But the issues on the lines are enough to keep next year's team from winning much more than 7 IMO.

Richmond never sniffs being drafted. It doesn't matter who the coach is. Blame your opinion on Rivals.com. He was never the kind of talent the recruiting sites made him out to be.
