[Kingston Vol]

It won't last till end of December.

That gives the coach coming in two months to recruit while hiring his staff. That can't happen.

We will have a coach the day after the regular season ends.

A perfect world would announce Gruden on monday as next head coach, but I have a feeling this will drag on until end of december.

Would be devastating IMO. Even if it's a sitting college football coach, there's absolutely no reason to wait past the last week of November.

Glad we made this decision.

Never going to celebrate someone losing their job. Butch may be a bad guy - we’ll hear stories soon if so. However, he worked his rear end off and stabilized our program from further detioriating. He just hit his ceiling and was out of his league. He had major flaws.

But his wife and children will hear how awful their father and husband is but they had no choice in this. I feel for them.

I feel for the non-seniors on this team who don’t know what’s next.

I feel strange celebrating someone failing, so I’m not going to. It’s never fun firing someone who worked hard. We had to do it and should’ve done it a month ago.

Try not to dog Butch as a person. Stick to his coaching flaws.

Again, glad we did it. He earned being let go. Let’s not rub it in his face. Let’s show people what Tennessee’s about.

I’m sure this will be taken out of context. He only meant it to benefit the kid.

If that's the case he should have said "make sure you have a backup plan" because he doesn't know the new coach won't honor his scholarship offer.

Why would Butch tell the kid to look somewhere else? Why not stick around and wait to see who is coming in and keep your commitment to your original school? Douche.
