We had a few battles then. I was a wing at KSU 2011-2015 so I'm sure we had a few collisions. Y'all always had an extremely solid backline, especially once it got to the centers. Prep work leading up to playing the moosemen was not a fun week of practice for us haha.

Nice I am sure we did. I’d probably recognize you if I saw you. Week of KSU was no joke for us either haha. Y’all always had a really strong pack and some hard runners in the centers. My shoulders would be sore for days lol.

Did you ever play against Life U? Some of those guys are in my gym sometimes working out.

Nash_vol could vouch for this. There is no program that would pump out athletes like Life U. I have never been beaten at anything as bad I was beaten By Life. My friend played there who was 6'3 230 pounds who ran a solid 4.4/4.5. No matter what you did, you couldn't stop them.

Who wants to bet we see a much different offense and defense on Saturday night???

I am game for it, as long as it’s not worse than before. If it is a lot better, I will truly question what in the world Currie was thinking about, which will make me question what he will do with this hire.

I keep thinking about it. The fact that his name was mentioned at all is so odd and out of left field that it makes me believe he is/was an actual candidate and perhaps even talked to Currie/boosters about the job.

Maybe Jim told him that life as a college coach is better than being an NFL coach or something.

We could definitely do A LOT worse.

I hated playing Life U. They are a top 3 team in D1. Their developmental team would beat us by 80+.

I played a full 80 against them my Sophmore year, we raised a pint for being the first team to keep them under 100. It was like the 5th game of the year and we lost 99-0. I think the closest we ever played them was 59-10 my freshman year.

Absolutely hated playing them lol. I remember playing them in 7s and Cam Dolan, who plays 8 man for the national team, absolutely trucked my ass. It felt like I got run over by a freight train.

Haha yeah we scored one time and we thought it was the greatest thing we had ever done. Closest we came was like 60 something to 7.

Cam played wing in the developmental game against me my freshman year. They didn't have enough players so he decided he wanted some extra cardio. I was like 155 pounds dripping wet at the time. He took one to the weak side off a ruck and it was lights out for me! He's a really good dude though. It's good to see him playing overseas.
