Glad we made this decision.

Never going to celebrate someone losing their job. Butch may be a bad guy - we’ll hear stories soon if so. However, he worked his rear end off and stabilized our program from further detioriating. He just hit his ceiling and was out of his league. He had major flaws.

But his wife and children will hear how awful their father and husband is but they had no choice in this. I feel for them.

I feel for the non-seniors on this team who don’t know what’s next.

I feel strange celebrating someone failing, so I’m not going to. It’s never fun firing someone who worked hard. We had to do it and should’ve done it a month ago.

Try not to dog Butch as a person. Stick to his coaching flaws.

Again, glad we did it. He earned being let go. Let’s not rub it in his face. Let’s show people what Tennessee’s about.

That was a great game! All Blacks are just so clinical. You have to play an almost perfect game just to have a chance at beating them.

I played in college as well. An absolutely incredible sport that gave me lifelong friends from around the world.

Watch ESPN has live/replays of Super Rugby, French Top 14, and most major International games. No extra charge if you have ESPN. I watch rugby every Saturday morning with a cup of coffee until Gameday comes on

Norvell is the man, though. Fuente may have built Memphis football but Norvell has lifted us even higher, and he's the better recruiter. Norvell would NOT be a bad hire.

So Currie had a plan to announce the new HC shortly after letting Butch go officially...

How much of a boss rockstar would he be if he introduced Gruden tonight at the 5pm press conference? Freak would need new servers.

Completely agree. Only problem with him is his defense. They seem soft and I’m sick of watching pathetic defenses every year
