He was one who told us Butch wasn't fired when everyone else was saying he was, I'd give him a chance before completely dismissing him.

Starting to look like he was dead on. Butch apparently just told his staff and would need to meet with the team.

If not Gruden, I'm good, life goes on. I'll continue to root for TN and try to make the occasional game. I only have so much time, passion, money, emotion....I can easily invest those things in another direction. I had a blast at the GT game yesterday and as we were leaving, my wife and I discussed buying season tickets next year.

Over the past 10 years my passion for the Vols has remained high but has been on a downward trend. This next hire will determine if that trend continues or reverses, and it will be dramatic in either direction.
