How much of Currie sticking with BJ this long, could be him trying to improve his own image. He wasnt known as a coach friendly AD when he got this gig. Surely he wouldnt think the effects of flaming this dumpster fire, by "sticking by the coach", will out weigh looking so indecisive. Just trying to figure out why any AD would let this coach play out. Its not good for the Program and more importantly its not good for the kids.

I know... there is so much emotion in here today it is difficult to maneuver through it.... I have tried to back away, starting with yesterday and review what was said, what I heard and what I understand....

I am solid here...

1. I am in that group that says "I want Jon Gruden"
2. I am not sure that Gruden wants Tennessee
3. I believe there has been some talks with Gruden
4. I cannot confirm Gruden from my source
5. I am sure there are some people trolling the crap out of this board
6. I think Currie is determined to prove he is in charge no matter the cost to Tennessee football
7. I will try to keep my opinions to myself and stop posting after today


PS/ I reserve the right to change my opinions as I receive more information and more or new things come to light

Here comes the news that Gruden is more inclined to take Bucs job. I think if he is going to coach again it will be at Tennessee. Plus, if that offer of $10+ million, whether it be base or not, that would make him one of the highest paid NFL or college coaches. I know Saban makes over $11 million with bonuses and incentives.
