Did Doyle call up the boys for a jam session?

No wish it would've been! My cousin has a system kinda like Netflix or sling. So I just ask for music and he sends it to me. He uses Plex and is amazing if the night time crew wants to join

Yep. Especially with the $340 million stadium upgrades coming. If they don't get this hire right, that's gonna be a lot of wasted money. They're probably going to lose money. It could seriously throw this program into a tailspin for decades. Getting this hire right is an absolute must.

It really is a shame what the program has came to. Me and Tnvols72 there used to play bball with Andy Kelly and after he went up there to play I got more into the trips to Neyland. If they don't get it right this time I'm afraid the magic that was there back then will never be back.

FYI the Butch Jones Show was taped as usual tonight.

No this doesn’t mean anything, as Dooley taped his final one after being fired too, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

It's painful to see reports showing UT being the top revenue earner in the SEC and 3rd in the nation and admin pissing all that away. Players and fans deserve better. I just don't understand it. You're exactly right. I see media naming the teams that are better jobs than UT and it makes me sick. UT would have been a top job in the country a decade ago and decades before that. We are seriously becoming irrelevant.

I'll seriously be surprised if he's fired before the end of the season. At this point I just don't think the AD has the balls to pull the trigger. There have been plenty of opportunities already and not a single peep from Currie.

That's the hardest part is that UT has been a "let's make it to a bowl" team for way to many years. I remember when it was top 10 every year and a dominating presence in college football.

It makes me sick seeing Currie's twitter. Softball, basketball, tennis, soccer, vollyball, etc. but not a single mention about UTs most historic and beloved sport and top earner. WTF is wrong with that guy?

Because it doesn't matter at this point the school is still making tons of money with them not being good. What does it matter to him if they win or lose if they still bring in the most money.

It will end up being hazardous to his employment eventually

Currie may make a great hire but he is always going to be remembered for the season that he sat with his thumb up his a** and let the program burn.

I can't help but think he has something or someone up his sleeve. Can the man really be this chicken s**t, or stupid? He has to know what he is doing to recruiting and the fan base.

Because that's not going to last forever. Fans have been patient for a decade. That's starting to end. Most of us are fed up and ready to stop contributing, buying tickets, gear, etc. at this point. They have to get it right this time. I'm saying that as an absolute. If they don't, hard times are going to fall on the University.

I agree with 1 exception. If he already has a coach in waiting and one of the stipulations was to let Butch finish the season. If the season ends and that's not the case, then I agree with you 100%.

I agree someone like my dad who's from Chattanooga he raised me on Tennessee. He hasn't watched a game since Georgia. Did it isn't good for his health. That's what sucks is those that have been fans for 65 years are now missing out on what should be great football.

This is what I keep thinking has to be the case. I cannot for the life of me see him thinking waiting without a coach lined up would be the right thing to do. It must be a nightshift thing because you and I think a lot alike.

By all accounts, the guy isn't stupid. However he is displaying stupidity in his lack of action. Asking the fans for $300 million and then letting Butch Jones burn this program to the ground is bad bad business.
