Says everything I need to know. He has not been informed he was being let go weeks ago, and I have wasted the past 4 weeks on grumors..... again. 2012 repeat and we are hiring a coach who is currently coaching somewhere.

I agree. I became convinced he has not been told he is being let go this week when I listened to the VQ podcast and they talked about how Currie liked to operate.

I think Currie was being too smart by half and thought if he kept stringing Butch out, Butch would hold it together, make a bowl and keep a decent class together. Then he could fire and replace him, and have a tidy house to handover to the next guy.

Instead Currie will be handing a smoldering dumpster fire and an completely pissed off fanbase to the next guy, whose name won't be Gruden by the way!

It will be Brohm fresh off a 4-8 season.

Look on the bright side. By keeping butch here longer, some crappy coaches are getting wins against us to keep their jobs. Easier east next for Our New coach.

Butch has used up all of his equity. His legacy here now might be worse than Dooley's. This looks like the worst team that we have ever had.

That's why he should have been canned weeks ago. I said after Bama he would destroy all the good that he did here. He will now be looked at on the same level as Dooley. Sad when you think about it.
