McBride is my favorite player and with Gruden he will be day 1 starter next year

Been tailgating and at game, left at halftime. Just got back to hotel. We spoke around 4pm (after I had a few bourbons). He said they stayed back to prep Butch Jones exit. He said Gruden looks likely, but still not 100%. He said everyone was a bit more chippy and up beat in Knoxville in the AD.

You just said a few posts back that Gruden would be announced in a couple of weeks. Care to elaborate?

I keep hearing,seeing that the boosters , AD, or whoever saying that they are swinging for the fences with the hire and the only name that would even come up in that kind of talk is Gruden.
Names like Mullen , Frost , Brohm are not associated with swinging for the fence but more like just trying to get a hit.

Mullen mis-managed the clock and gave Bama the chance to win the game in regulation.

I think we swing for the fences, but we may not get a pitch to hit. I've been optimistic up till now, but after watching tonight's debacle, I wonder how in the wide world of sports the "people in charge" could have allowed this clown(CBJ) to continue to embarrass our players and fans. :banghead2:

Now that the Butch Jones era is over - and there are many questions - but the biggest to me is why the heck did Evan Berry not play offense? Our coach thought he was more valuable as a 3rd string safety.
