'18 TN OL/DL Cade Mays (Transfer)

Catholic won big over Fulton in tonight's playoff game which was televised here in the Knoxville area.

Cade had several penalties, most if not all in the first half, including two unsportsmanlike penalties.

Yeah, yeah, who cares...

Shocking.

Here's CBJ's quote, a direct response to a line of questioning about recruiting and Cade decommitting:

"Every individual has a different set of circumstances that they’re looking for. Look at Trey Smith. Trey Smith wanted that challenge of helping us get Tennessee football back to a very very high level. He wanted that challenge. Each individual is different.”

Yeah, well, Butch Jones' circumstances find him trying to get a SEC win this year.

I think I see who's the wiser,

“Absolutely. I want to win a national championship and get the best opportunity to play at the highest level,”

Translation, Cade doesnt want to play at Tennessee

He doesn't want to play for Jones. He wants to play at Tennessee just not for a coach that is terrible.

I told them this and that he told this to CPF and his dad months ago. The micro manager who doesn't allow others to do their job has lost all control that was already bad last year. But no I had no clue and was the bad guy. OL coaching has been atrocious it's not talent it's the stupid scheme and wanting guys to multi task. I was always told learn to be great at one job before trying to learn multiple roles. You can't move interior guys to OT if they don't have the feet to do it. Like the old saying can't force a square peg in a round hole. From Coleman Thomas to Trey Smith they're not OTs and they get the Qbs killed and Rbs blown up. Really dumb to say the least and coaching malpractice.

I know it won’t happen till we get a new coach and maybe it won’t even happen then, but It would be pretty great if Cade recommitted now hah
