Butch is leaving no doubt in his departure with McBride starting.

On another note, it stinks that South Carolina is having the season UT was supposed to have.

So people cant change? I know what Kiffin did but geez, how does anyone know what he would be like if he came back? He could have completely changed from what he was in 2009. The guy can get an offense going.

It almost looked like the ISU receiver pinned the ball against the OSU defender and then took it from him ... like Green never actually wrapped his arms around the ball.

Weird way to end a game. Poor ISU losing another QB.

I actually feel alright going into this game tonight. McBride strikes me as the gritty, game manager type QB. If we can get Kelly and Chandler equally involved, play solid defense and are solid in the kicking game I think he have a shot. Can't believe I'm saying this in year 5.

100% agree. He did not fulfill his commitment to coach at UT. Yes, the contract had a buy-out in it. Yes, USCw was his dream job. However, he signed a long term contract to coach UT, which influenced recruits to sign and fans to buy tickets and make donations.

He can stay down there to play Joey Freshwater.

I mean I don’t want to see JG go out there without the ability to move laterally. This doesn’t have anything to do with performance.

What if McBride goes off tonight? QB controversy last two games? Spring should be fun wide open with new staff. Anyone that has been halfassing it will be in trouble.

This was exactly how I saw it. I think they got it wrong, but it was hard to overturn.

Auburn just had an OL split out wide lol. Love to see some of the creative stuff on offense. Meanwhile Butch just knows right, left or up the middle.

I agree with you about McBride, but Butch won't let him run. Our offense will be more conservative than usual from that standpoint and I don't see it working without the QB running.

It's early in the game but that UGA defense looks outstanding. Not Alabama level but it's not that far behind IMO. So fast and physical. We'll recruit good no matter who the coach is, but if we're going to hang with them consistently we need a guy in here who's gonna be able to stack top 5 classes annually IMO
