if youre playing acoustic, yes. Hard to find a gibson acoustic that doesnt sound like a bunch of shrivelled up rat intestines stretch tight across a cardboard box.

I worked for those guys for 10 years.

Have yet to hear a decent sounding acoustic of theirs.

I was in a band with a dude that played a Les Paul thru an old Marshall. I LOVED the sound of that thing in my floor monitor.

Jimmy Page, Slash, Ace...and many others. LP through a Marshall. The quintessential rock sound.

Last time I accepted free bulleit, i had to find a way out of some horrible redneck bar in the middle of nowhere with noone in it but the bar tendress and some weirdo handing out free liquor in a dry town. Pretty sure he wanted to **** me.

LOL sounds bad I don't blame you for not wanting anymore of that.

I doubt GnR affected the current landscape of rock music. Provide proof....? Don't worry, I'll wait....

Disclaimer: other than Slash

At the very LEAST, they gave the Pretty Boy Floyds, Bang Tangos, etc a swift kick in the backside. The LA scene had gone completely cookie cutter with style over substance, and GNR brought some badly needed edge. They were dangerous.
