i figure we'll hear more late sat early sun ... if there's anything to hear at all.

in one hand, it makes sense. announce butch is gone, will finish season (or announce interim) in effort to rally the team and fans for a late season run at a bowl. plus, i reckon there's supposed to be recruits at the vandy game, so maybe we have our new coach there.

on the other hand, you gotta wonder if we will hear anything until after vandy.

above all else, we understand that we don't have all the pieces of the puzzle, so we don't know what the AD is thinking and why.

to me, it seems the smart play, if everything is worked out and you're able, would be announce butch gone (and how we plan to finish the season) and if possible the gruden hire, again to rally the team, players, fans, and recruits.

but i don't know anything.
i'm not boro or dto.

Go Vols! Funny story. I ended up here because I was on a school sponsored trip to DC and this was a stop along the way. One of the highlights of that trip was supposed to be me making fun of their cute stadium. I made myself heard with an "Awwww!" from the back when they proudly pointed to Lane Stadium. Fell in love with the academics and atmosphere though, so here I sit.

Edit: have fun tonight! Not sure if you're familiar with the place but if you need any suggestions for food or beer, I'm here!

It was to you and the other sleuths/thinkers in here. Lol. Just curious you thoughts on something happening Sunday/Monday and what would be the reasoning. The feeling today seems to be that some info has surfaced that something significant has happened. Maybe the MOU? I’m just trying to think about why this week would make sense versus after Ky or the end of the year.

I followed all of the "insiders" pretty closely in 2012 and this is looking eerily similar. I will gladly get egg on my face, but I personally think all of this is BS again.

I assume we will go back to roman numerals when we reach Gruden XL (40)... I hope he is announced way before XL, but I fully expect these threads to keep going after the announcement.

My goal one day is to be as smooth as beaver and as cool as boro/dto... I'd also settle for a shout out in grand vol news update

Wasn’t BS last time, was just way more fluid than people thought. Again... the final decision maker is NOT in the group of people sharing the information to these posters.

Things can be “done” and agreed upon but change at the last minute.
