The only places I go are publix and church, and my Sunday school teacher is in here as my witness.

Otherwise you'd be totally right.

BTW - this Gruden thing has taken so much of my time, I'm completely unprepared for Sunday  Guess I'll be cramming like back in the UT days :thud:

Vol Reporter had the personality of a sock. Beaver is much more charismatic. They could be from the same source, but I'm kind of scared if someone has put that much thought into this.

This. I also pegged Reporter for being FOS quickly... Still trying to decide about Beaver. Haven't completely made up my mind about him yet. Definitely more style, that's for sure.

"Cat Lady" was incorrect, it was Kitty Kathy and I don't think related to the experience you posted. There were lots of rural myths, iirc.

THS Class of '70. I love the small town growing up memories I have and I appreciate them more and more everyday.

Amen, brother. Class of '78, here. Closest in my family to your age would've been a cousin, Eddie Prosser, but he was '74 or so. Still too far behind for you to have known him, I guess.

Post very little myself. Welcome aboard. Thought I would give you your first like.

Knew Eddie, went to church with him and his family.

Crazy thing, didn't see him from '70 till about '79 sitting a Real Estate License course in Oklahoma City. We were like "are you kidding me"...we hung out occasionally for next yr or two. He was an electrical contractor then.

Espn doesn't have TNF.

On a side note, TNF is garbage. The players have been hating on it for as long as it's been a thing.

TNF won't be around much longer. The players and coaches HATE it... They will play the injury card to get rid of it eventually.
