Yes, Swan Man said if JG comes look for Kendall Briles to be involved.

Don't see that happening with him being named in the Baylor lawsuit and our title IX lawsuit, just my opinion.

Lot's of people putting their E-cred on the line by saying Gruden will be our coach--done deal.. Interesting.

It only takes 5 years to build it back up, it seems. If anything is actually on the line to begin with.

I a little bit feel bad for the ones who have bought in to this thing whole hog and invested a lot of emotional capital into it.

There were a lot of people who seemed to get their feelings hurt the last time the Gruden bubble burst, and I don't think it's going to happen this time, either.

I'd love Gruden to be our next coach, but once again I think we are getting some very big and bold warning signs that this thing won't happen. The Kiffin interview. Hubbs being completely noncommittal. LWS at 5%. The folks in this forum with contacts in the AD telling us it won't happen (DeerPark, Hank, GFW). Pretty much every legitimate news reporter telling us it won't happen.

I'm completely expecting not to get Gruden. I'm at less than 1%.

But there are others I'd be fine with, including Mullen (who i'm convinced is our next coach).

What I meant by that was, I didn't question your veracity when you had some inside input, even though some guys did. I know there are lots of trolls out there, it just seems wrong to lump everybody into that heap...you should know that as well as anybody is what I meant.

Strange how much my confidence oscillates from week to week. I can go from "Currie really has this figured out. We're getting Gruden/Kelly/Patterson level hire!" to "Currie is incompetent. UT is a trainwreck. Prepare for Coach Googlefield or Bobopedia." in no time.

My BVS is flaring up. Must be the weather changing.

Trust me on this...I will believe we are getting a great coach when I see it. I have zero faith in Currie and the whole UT clusterfunk...I only have hope that they accidentally get lucky and get it right.
