Can we all agree we are the body of the church of Gruden? It doesn't matter when you started believing, only that you believe. As a follower, some are blessed with gifts of prophecy (beaver and others), discernment (VFLnSFD and others), exhortation (comb and others), serving (Grand Vol), leadership (boro'), speaking in tongues (ape), mercy (preacher with the list), etc. All that matters is you recognize your gift and use it to grow Gruden's church. Mine is Faith....soon. :hi:

Edited for blue font so we don't have people thinking this is a cult.

I'm on advanced search, I have my username in the Search by Username box, I have Find Posts by User (I didn't start any Gruden threads), Exact Name is checked, Search Options are the defaults except that I clicked the "Show Results As" posts radio button, and it's still only the 100 most recent posts. I've also twiddled the date range without any real change.

What the @#$%^&* am I doing wrong?

--btw, this is not an OG thing. I have been trying to figure this out forever.

I can't wrap my head around the people who so vehemently are against the "Grude with a 'Tude"! I mean let's take the coaching completely out of it...instantly we are viewed in a new light. It's like we got Meryl Streep to star in our home movies! We will dominate the sports news for the rest of this year, and ALL of next year. I mean look at the stir Kiffin created by taking the FAU job. Suddenly Gameday picks the FAU game every week...and FAU is in my Yahoo pick group every week. Now multiply that times a billion. People will report on when he takes a piss. Things will be said like, "Did you notice that face he made after Bammer scored and ruined the shutout? Dude he was pissed! I'd hate to be in practice next week! He expects excellence even from our 4th string when they're in on mop up duty!".

But let's put the coaching back into it...the coach that he was when he won a Super Bowl is just a shadow of the coach he is now...and he's not even coaching! He's a Peyton level workaholic. He watches film constantly, and has a film room in his house (wonder which room in Haslem's old digs will be the new film room???). He said himself a couple of weeks ago that he draws up plays every day...I mean what's he up to now? Beetle X 7 Kiwi??? And he has transformed into the preeminent developer of QBs in the world. He IS an unknown, but the unknown factor is, just how great is he???

Although I feel that every non-believer is probably just trying to protect themselves from disappointment, and it makes them feel slightly better to know that they've crapped on our day...even if it's just a little.

Sorry for the long, rambling, stream of consciousness, but damn, I just don't get some people.

I'm completely convinced. I was seriously harassed for expressing that opinion though. I think the Beav is the version that has been thought out for 5 years.

Im in. Been working. Per the OG criteria as set forth by the OG himself, Ill take my arm patch now. Been here since 2012,have the mod infractions to prove it. Post 9162 in JG II.

Now....let me go catch up...

This is the one thing that is driving me crazy. Volreporter sounded like Radio. Like he was mentally challenged. I’m not trying to be funny either. He posted as if he were on the set of Gameday, never responded to people who called him out and then would just repost the exact same post as before multiple times. I NEVER ONCE believed him/her. It was blatant. Beav won me to his side when he offered to help a fellow Vol find a job. Trolls don’t do that. He may end up being totally wrong (which I doubt) but that was a classy move.

We hung on VR every post like the Beaver..... only difference Beaver seems a little more personal.... the helping others Vols find work is Big to me.....

I am patiently waiting to see how the job thing turns out for some and it they hear anything at all
