Line all that up with other rumors, and some mesh pretty damn well. I'm also encouraged by the ability of the AD to keep any and all moves on their end so well insulated from the public. Of course that might also mean Currie is absolutely tone deaf to the fans and totally inept as an AD.

I hope that this is just the AD putting out a smokescreen before we actually hire Gruden. I get a little bit nervous with any news like this because I was all the way Gruden in 2012 too. But I'm going to hold strong in my faith and stay at 80%.

I tried to tune in to Tony B show since someone mentioned Trey Wallace was coming on, couldn’t handle it for more than 5 minutes.. just terrible, terrible radio.

I have a question. Why do ppl outside of this thread keep posting about other candidates, etc? Because if they have been following this thread you would think they wouldn't waste their time talking about other candidates. In here we seem to believe Gruden is coming or have a legitimate shot at getting him. Are we the delusional ones or are they turning a blind eye to Gruden? I believe at this point it's Gruden or Bust!

Is this the same Jake who created a cartoon by chance?..if so played golf back in the 90's with him here in Orl and he made a cartoon of all of us with Jake in it after the round..Lot of fun

Guy on TOS asked why Gruden hasn't put out a statement to shoot the rumors down if he is indeed a friend to TN.

So I don't see him killing any rumor. And I'm not sure he's as happy as he was five years ago doing MNF and I think MNF is in trouble at ESPN. So his outlook on his next step in life is probably different than it was 5 years ago.

I'm not certain that I was in on Gruden I, however Gruden-mania made me create an account. 2012 was very intimidating to me because I was trying to figure out all the acronyms, who erryone was, etc.

I left Gruden 2012 believing that there was more behind the scenes that was not public knowledge. I never faulted anyone for stating what they knew or heard.
