SIAP and I may be misremembering but weren’t there “leaks” from 2012 of a supposed Gruden announcement during the SECCG back then like we’ve been hearing about this week for yet another Gruden announcement?

Don’t bust my balls because I’m all in on Gruden but if that was the supposed timeline for an announcement in 2012 and it’s getting regurgitated for 2017 then my Grudometer is back to 5%.

DeerPark has admitted he's not connected to the UTAD anymore. He said he represents multiple D1 schools. He was basically outed as a rep for Adidas with no connections at UT anymore. I seriously doubt he would know anything about the coaching search. If he has talked to boosters I highly doubt they would tell him anything and if they did, it was probably BS. I wouldn't put any stock in what he's saying.

2 things...can someone please fix the time, it’s throwing me off lol.

I trained with my guy today and his source (close family friend with a multi million dollar company in Chattanooga) which i posted about a week ago who works in the AD in some capacity has changed his tone. He once said petrino was who we were getting now he has said that’s on the back burner if we get our guy. He wouldn’t give any more specific info because he said he believes a few people could be fired and are being set up to find the leaks. He said his other ppl in the AD have been told Mullen, Durkin, Patterson and the Memphis coach. (This might explain why no one is sharing anything of importance on the AD side).He asked my trainer had he shared with anyone because he said info he had given out had wound up on a message board. Of course my guy said no and he asked me and I played ignorant. He said he didn’t want to be giving out insider information, someone place a bet with that info and it coming back to him in some capacity. This guy sounds super paranoid which leads me to believe something big is going on. With all the positive chatter today it seems that the AD is behind and have been given misinformation. With what I’ve heard this week personally and from insiders on this site...Gruden is happening!

Exactly. He came in here acting all high and mighty and blamed fans for the problems at UT. He is a condescending prick IMO. I appreciate all info brought to this thread, even if it's not what I want to hear, but he had a pretty crappy way of going about it.

I wish he would be more detailed on how he gets his information, he clearly stated that he doesn't work for UT. So how does he just happen to have so much inside information?

It was brought up and discussed a little however no one seemed to know if it was true or not. However a few said they had been told about it and others had seen it online.
