Sorry y'all....I was on the Gruden wagon during the Butch Jones hiring fiasco....hell I though L. Smith was on a plane heading to Knoxville too...once I heard Paul Finebaum and that one caller talking about the Haslam's selling a portion of Pilot to Warren Buffett and Paul talking to some "Pilot People" that have deep roots in to the decision making if you will....my Gruden love has been on fire....hell I made a thread of my own Gruden Conspiracy Theory.....did not know I had to live in this thread though to be an OG Grudenite or I would have been...my bad my blunders y'all :dunno:

Frost and Mullen are hardly "the fence" in my opinion.

I'd hate to see them get Kelly, but we should send them a thank you card if they hire the other two.

Mullen is an offensive guy that runs a horridly offensive offense. It may be worse than Jones.

Hey, if the info checks out, great. I'm as full Grude as anyone and do not come in here casually dismissing information from anyone.

However, as the Great Communicator once said, "Trust, but verify." And recent posting history does not indicate someone with ties into the AD and was full Mullen not long ago.

I'm cautious by nature. One must earn a place of trust with this forum just like you have.

Fellas. There are about 100 threads in the football forums discussing any coaching candidate you could possibly name, and another 100 comparing all those coaches.

The folks who have kept these Gruden threads alive forever would appreciate if conversations here would stick to Jon Gruden.

So please take the Mullen, Frost, Kelly, and other debates to one of those many other threads, just out of respect for them?

Prescott plays for the Cowboys, yet Mullen is 7-2 right now with blowout wins over LSU, Texas A&M, and that UK team that just beat us.

I'm not saying he should be our top target, but if he's our floor, then we'll be fine.

They had to up their offer to get Stricklin because he is an MSU guy. He married the daughter of MSU's best basketball player in school history. Don't think Mullen is going to UF.

Listening to SportsTalk out of Chattanooga.
A caller asked about the Grumors just now, and they all pretty much laughed at him, saying it is a lot like Bigfoot sightings and about as likely as marrying Scarlett Johansson.
Can't wait to call in and laugh at them!!!
