I want Gruden to coach here more than anything but I must admit 1big reason is just to stick it to all these folks that laugh at the idea and media members that give 0% chance.Vindication is a underrated emotion.

So far the only WNML acknowledgement of the Grude related news is that Haslam also owns the Browns and since he makes money from that, it seems that's more likely the reason he'd be letting Gruden use the plane. I do not expect John and Jimmy to acknowledge it at all.

Wallace not one to put crap out there. He has to be really sure. My guess is that he received confirmation of the MOU and that allowed him comfort to go

I guess I'm confused on the whole "coach in waiting" thing. If Jones is "officially" released Sunday, would they actually announce Gruden as the next coach at the same time, or near the same time?

He said that he doesn't want no part of the NFL today, but last week said that he would pursue the NFL if he didn't go to UT. I quoted the wrong quote of his.

I realized a few years ago that I play my best golf with a 3 beer buzz. Any fewer, I'm to tight. Any more, I'm to loose.

I experimented around if the same would hold true in other endeavors and found mixed results.

From a very prominent booster:

Just talked to a friend who spoke with Currie this afternoon. I was definitely skeptical of all the Gruden discussion to date. Not anymore. I am now 100% sure we are at least in serious talks with him.
