He needs to be emergency only. We already burned McBride’s redshirt. Let him at least make it worth it and get some experience. JG has taken a beating. He needs to get healthy.

People who just want to come in here and start crap and attack others are going to be removed from the thread. These threads are supposed to be fun.

Like it or not, they are what they are. They are very clearly labeled and very easy to ignore. But a lot of people enjoy the fun. If you don't enjoy them or don't buy in, that's certainly your prerogative. A lot of people are in that boat too. Feel free to ignore the thread.

This is supposed to be a thread about harmony and a new bright future. There are no negavols and sunshine pumpers in here now.

Can't we all just get along? Except for people faking pictures. Did that happen? lol.

Also some talk (specifically twitter) that Dale Jones was contacted by Gruden.

We are at the “Gruden rounding up all the former Vol greats for his staff” stage.

Martin, Jones... can someone get Jay Graham on the line?

I almost don't want to post this but I think we have got him. Way too much smoke. I never posted this in 12 but I had a friend at the time who was and still is good friends with Dale Jones. In 2012, a few days before the TFP and Hargis article, he told me DJ had been contacted by Gruden to consider a position. This was not a message board but a guy from the same hometown as Jones.

I was shocked when it did not happen. I knew we were trying to get him this time but with what came out on Twitter about Jones and I am not talking about the lugnut or whatever that is. This kid we all know whose dad is going to kill him just put out in response to the nug post that Dale Jones had just been contacted by Gruden. The guy I knew in 12 and I have not talked in a long time since our daughters do not play basketball together any longer and he's got a divorce and I just don't see him. But this kid's dad is close to a pretty big booster who is very close to Dale Jones and I will leave it at that. When I heard this in the Gruden thread and saw the Twitter post it just became even more real. I knew we were trying but I think we may really have it done IF all the folks up on the hill are really working together this time to give the control he wants. You guys know I am not a troll and I still want to see him being introduced because I have such little faith in the admin on the hill. But, dang it, someone is really trying and I think he really wants it but on his terms. Must not be about the money any longer. Please don't screw this up JD and JC.

Ha matts swung by Grudenville and said that before QD had been ruled out for the season, Butch had said QD had a good week of practice but didnt take a snap all week.

You are correct, volnugs is saying Gruden accepted $10.2 Million/year, Tee accepted OC/head coach in waiting, Chavis for DC, DJ as defensive assistant and Graham as RBC. Announcement will be on SECCG day.
