maybe it's ergen's masterplan, and anderson is backing it. maybe together, they've got all the other boosters on board to push/force the issue.

The way I interpreted it Ergen put a plan in place that the academic side would benefit to a degree that they got on board quickly and possibly Haslam couldn't counter it or he'd be percieved in negative light. That's just my take and I think also the big money boosters are real close to being unaminous after wrinkles have been ironed out.

The two thing that really troubles me are ! the only coach hired off staff that the people wanted was Johnny Majors. the second is if we had Gruden, why would the administration let the fans get so worked up. This is piss pore planning from the AD office. Go Gruden

The Administration does not care about the regular fan in the stands, they care about what the large donor boosters want ....

Also... this seems to mean that the clues Beaver is giving us could be where Gruden is, NOT where he is ?

I think he's telling his travels in comparison to moby dick. He left Asheville for the whaling grounds of Nantucket (airport), to arrive in Tampa, and now the hunt is on to land the White Whale. Notice the pic is showing a battle not a yet a victory. I've been more interested by the pictures.

Moderators and admins have the email addresses that we use when we sign up, assuming that the addresses are still good or weren't fake in the first place. That's how we get our birthday wishes!

I would guess that a mod has read st least one of our posts and emailed him. If so, maybe he hadn't replied, maybe it's not a good email, maybe he requested no updates here. At any rate, as worried as we might be, we can't demand information, at least not on the public forums. (The flip side of anonymity.)

Who knows, maybe as SFD mentioned, he's just embarrassed. Or he crossed some personal boundary that he had for himself to not discuss this specific event on a message board. :dunno:

But in case they haven't seen our posts, I'll report my own post (this one.)

I've expressed my view and I'll leave it at that. I've lost 2 friends this year from depression, none of them could have been predicted.

I thought it was determined that DP is no longer associated with UT. DP said he doesn't live in Tennessee anymore and I don't recall a dollar amount stated that Ergen gives. He just said Ergen has given the same amount each year for 10 years. Maybe SfD can verify?

I thought I read a post earlier that Gruden was in/near Tampa in talks with an NFL team today ?
