I generally use Occam's Razor. The more simple the more likely. I do not believe that recruits wouldn't be told something if the situation was very good regarding the next hire. From an interview just played on 99.1 the recruits are still talking with the current coaches, but not at all about any job issues.

If you think this is linear and non complex then I would guess you are wrong. This is a non linear battlefield. Everything from this point on is a feint to disguise everyone's movement . IMO

There's plenty of room for skeptics, believers, and wait-and-see folks here. I was directing my comments at those who go through dramatic emotional shifts approximately every 8 hours based on the latest scrap of information.

I agree with you wholeheartedly... And for somebody like me who is a point A to point B kind of IT guy with as little drama and issues as possible, this is driving me nuts. But I do have the ability to see the forest and not get bogged down by the trees. Eye on the prize and what that can mean...

I believe he has made his decision. I believe he’s waiting on his choice to accept or decline. I could be wrong. Just my opinion.

So you're saying in the eyes of a kid that's bled orange his entire life that going to UGA with Kirby Smart and Sam Pittman would still be a bigger draw than Jon Gruden with all of his NFL contacts and experience and whoever he pulls for OC and O-Line coach and he wouldn't flip back? Not buying it.

I am a Grudenite. But I do not have to make a life changing decision. I hope Kevin keeps him with an open mind but right now Butch Jones is the coach at UT and that is all they know. I do not think that Cade would have even considered visiting these other schools if UT could offer him competent coaching. No one knows anything to give him any support that things are going in the right direction.

Yes you could end up with Gruden, but you could also end up with Mullen or Bobo right now. That is just where this situation lies. And Mays must not be getting any encouragement or he would not have decommitted.
