If you couldn't see the Cade Mays thing coming for weeks you weren't paying very much attention. No surprise at all until our hapless Administration and AD makes a freaking move. God why can't we do anything right here?

if that was the case, he would be out recruiting and tweeting which he hasnt done in over a month.

Is it for support AT UT? OR could it be for 'references' in looking elsewhere? It seems clear the man has accepted defeat (see the complete shut down of recruiting, his ONE golden egg)....

Yes and no. If you think Currie's decision, with millions upon millions of dollars in the balance, is going to be influenced by a 17 year old, you're wrong. Butch will be let go once 2 things happen, IMO.

1. Deal has been reached with new coach.
2. Vols are eliminated from bowl contention.

What has he done to show you he's that smart?

The point is, he appears to be doing nothing but letting Jones keep his job in hopes of a bowl so he can keep him.

No rumors of other coaches, nothing. Also the past ten years would lead us to the conclusion that nothing has changed with this administration and we'll get another google type hire

And it’s such an obvious question, yet none of the local media have asked it, that I’m aware of.

I mean it’s not surprising, given the local media, but your questions would certainly put someone, JC or CBJ, on the defensive...it’s about time it starts happening.

He hasn’t recruited in a month. Think about it. Recruits are being told to hold off on visits. Why would that be happening if he was back? Oh and where does Hubbs get his info? Exactly. This is Currie and company with their fingers in the dam trying to Kee it together.

Basilio also saying that Jones is trying to rally support from Boosters for the 2018 season.

If any booster even entertained this garbage that booster(s) should be tarred and feathered. Are our Big $$$ Boosters and Ath Dept this inept?
