if this is in fact true... this is VERY troubling

it means he and Currie hadn't talked or agreed to a buyout or him knowing he is gone at the end of the season which could also mean this isn't being handled very well or even worse the white whale isn't in the hook


why would he even want another year with the fan base ready to let him go

Yes, I think he's been told he's gone, but since he isn't yet, and he realizes he can't get another P5 job, he is trying to stay at UT for another year.
