Why would John Gruden want to leave his easy job at ESPN and coach football? And why college? He would much prefer going back to the NFL since he’s afraid of the NCAA. Plus, we have coaches like Dan Mullen and Willie Taggart and Dave Doeren and Mike Dallas, I mean, Houston lining up to maintain our mediocrity. You Grudenites are just plum crazy.

Yeah, dude! Exactly! Plus I'm sure you already heard JG jokingly said he would get a college team into trouble! Also, in case nobody mentioned it yet, Gruden only bought a house here to be close to his wifes relatives. Its not like ESPN is about to make even more job cuts and get rid of Gruden. We both know Gruden only likes talking football and doesnt have that competitive itch to coach again. Why cant everyone else see it like you and I? I'm being as sarcastic as possible.

Been fussing how grude will be a good coach. When he becomes a reality, a new kind of stupid will pop up and talk about how we paid this man who ain't coached in all these years all these millions. Can't imagine going through the motions again to show them the light so I'm just going to grab a baseball bat instead.

I find it odd that there’s more smoke going around from Gruden than any other possible candidate.

If Gruden is Currie’s #1 priority, that explains all the work that’s been put into the deal.

Timing is the only thing that’s still questionable right now.

It also explains why the Board of Regions decided to approve 340 million dollar renovation project to Neyland Stadium. UT may be finally committed to Championship Football again.
