Currie has been a genius with this stalling tactic. I would take a mannequin at the HC position now. I am at the point of no disappointment with ANYONE at this juncture. Who cares if no Stoops. 😎

Go ahead. You said you had multiple examples. Give us more.

I am saying with 100% certainty you don't know how coaching searches work. Coaches are informed they won't be retained all the time, and HC positions are not advertised/posted. AD's actively pursue new coaches while still having one under contract (but not being retained) regularly.

Recent ETSU HC examples not advertised...

Baseball HC position NOT posted
Basketball HC position NOT posted
Football HC position NOT posted

All Of these recent new HC's were identified by the AD and pursued and landed.

But keep telling us of the NCAA family member you have that has zero understanding of the hiring and firing practices of universities in the state of TN. A hiring search has zero to do with NCAA compliance.

Dip**** 1 and dip**** 2 have recruited fine the last 8 years while sucking at UT, Mullen would recruit well.

He would coach them better. Unless he hires “recruiters” though, blue chip 5 stars aren’t jumping to sign with Tenn.

I'm not concerned about when Butch is announced as gone. I think the only benefit is it allows us, the fans know sooner, who the next coach is.
