The posters who are calling people idiots might want to look at yourselves in the mirror. If you're honest with what you see, I bet you have that tinge of yellow most cowards have. "Remington Raiders". People that fear not because they face not. Easy to feel heroic when you don't have to prove you're the man you think you are.

The majority of my section were all new faces. Mostly dad's/mom's with their kids, which was really cool to see. I gave two of my tickets to a coworker so he could take his daughter. My son and I enjoyed the pregame but man oh man was the game a drag until the D stepped up.

Seems like 80-85k would be an accurate number. Student section was barren, significantly so. Lots of empty seats scattered about. But again, really nice to see some new folks getting to enjoy the experience and environment.

Or its because a lot of people on this site are pathetic fans and will not support the team because of the coach...Its not the players fault the coach sucks. Put yourself or your kids in the players shoes and dont show up. I hope all you fools who have kids and their team might not be winning and nobody shows up to support them. Its a game thats it A Game

Yeah the emptying out took place in 3rd quarter after the frat/sorority competition awards given out at halftime.

I understand where you are coming from...but I do not think this type of results can continue...I dont think people will support it....outlook doesnt look good either...imo

But listen, itĀ’s the thought that matters. Imagine noone was seated at the stadium. Do you think that would raise some heads? It was a small gesture towards a greater one.

I agree...the results suck...but not showing up to games and not supporting the team isnt doing anything but hurting the "kids" playing and future recruits...the ass clown butch is getting paid regardless if we show up

I was there. There were empty seats but I'd say 75 to 80 k. The only big section missing were the student section. Guess the millennials are too busy protesting various injustices to come to homecoming game.

Didn't look too full to me. There a lot of folks that paid for season tickets. They're going to bring their family to the game regardless of this empty neyland thing. But I'm sure it had some impact. If there were 20k less in attendance (both because of the empty neyland and just general lack of excitement), that translates to a lot of money lost for the university

That annoying "music" that DJ was playing would be enough to keep me home. Sounded like a PeeWee football game. Is it that obnoxious sounding live in the stadium?

It seemed like SECN seldom showed a stadium shot. Kept the cameras tight on the field and sidelines, but the few glimpses showed some empty seats.
