serious question: so i think we can all assume that butch is here for the rest of the season. I've already come to terms with this.

But, would they make any sort of announcement regarding a change any time soon?

something like "butch has decided to step down after the season..."?

Depends on if you're announcing Gruden. If not, you want to avoid all of the chatter and questions about who is the next coach.

Then again you could get a lot of coaches raises... make the comp spend more money. Might not be a bad thing if you leave it open to interpretation.

Guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but my source just sent me a text saying that Currie just contacted Gruden telling him the deal is off. He believes after that opening drive, Butch has righted the ship.
