Kudos to you. I must’ve overlooked it. What’s your thoughts on the line dropping to 150 now? I know you were adamant about it not being a legitimate indicator of Gruden coming... feel the same?

He didn't drop any truth bombs. He basically just said that Currie is going to pressure Butch to quit by letting dirty laundry out, but didn't really give any laundry out. Someone else relayed a story about Jones making one of the players stand up in front of the team and call himself a curse word.

That was about it.

Feeling sad - and it's not about the Gruden situation. Just got back from the vet where I learned that my cat has leukemia. They gave her a steroid shot and she's feeling much better but at best she only has a couple of months of quality life left.

I know. Cat.

She's been a part of our family for 17 years. I love her and will miss her.

So I feel sad.

Thanks for giving me a moment.

Sorry, Bob. Pets are family. Our Great Dane is getting way up there in years, and I understand how hard it is to lose them.

I still don't put much stock on the Betonline line moving. As I've said before I bet on Gruden because I feel like he's coming based on other info. It was strictly a gamble.

KV did, however. It may be something you all already knew, but he relayed a story about the reason Daniel Helm left, and then said the below:

I'm no insider and didn't hear about it when it happened. I made friends with someone in the program during an athletic event when I worked with another school and we began talking about Butch and whether he was the right guy for Tennessee. (This was the summer before the 2016 season.) He told me the Helm story and some others.

To your larger point, I don't think this stuff gets out when you're running a winning program. Just like calling a guy who went to the police when he heard about a rape a "traitor" and advocating that the other players "teach him a lesson."

Several have stated that the truth about Butch's poor culture would come out. That appears to be in process.
